Gyps. Either a faster shutter to 'freeze' the water, or a slower shutter to 'milk the water so it has that flow' look. you'll probably need to rest the camera on the side of the trough. Don't let it fall in tho.

I had to water the garden and thought it was a good opportunity to get out my camera, bearing in mind it's a point and shoot. Here's a few of the pics...
