Trisha I THINK the Babinda shop will be open this weekend (waiting on Lee-Anne to confirm) before Danny & Lee-Anne go to the US but I know for a fact that the Cairns store will be open tomorrow (I have a couple of things I'll look for there and if I can't find everything I'll go for a drive this weekend). Hope you're on the mend!
Well the Christmas Tree is finally down, and today was back to work and back to training. For all the Cairns locals, the red arrow sucks this time of year, especially when you've have a few weeks off...

Well I have just come back in from dropping of the first of hopefully not many rental applications. Will find out in around 3-5 days if I was successful.
Washing is going and I am of to photograph my dd album. Finally finished it last night and I am so not loving it. Will definitely be doing something different next time.
I hope you don't have to spend too long looking for a new place Julie - house hunting and moving house have got to be some of the most stressful things to do (along with job hunting!).
I hope you're feeling better soon Mandy - I used to get soooo many ear infections as a kid and they were agony! Hope you don't suffer too long <3

thats just it Christine... I had the idea it was a 'kid' thing... but there you go, got a sore throat, started to get the sniffles and then the earache started. Just like it happens with kids Its much better today now the antibiotics have kicked in
Hello every one, hoping you all had a pleasant Christmas and a very merry new year, it is nice to be back, I spent a month in hospital but I am at home now until the 23rd January then it will be back at work. In the meantime what fun can we get up to here? When will the shop open in Babinda? So much to scrap and so little time…

Well, I saw Mary Poppins last night and OMGoodness - amazing, absolutely brilliant. Wish I was there again tonight.
just spent an hour uploading photos! not happy - 3 cameras each trying to use their own software and being dogmatic about where they put the photos. I've resorted to straight copy and paste. Of course, 2 routers, several computers and hard drives mean I then have to sync things to be able to easily access the photos from the computer in the study. Seems way too hard. Will need to put in a system request to resident technicians.

I'm still away on holidays. It's lovely here in our own little house near the water. I hardly see my son through the day. He only pops in around lunch time when he's hungry. Tana is sitting on the couch as she fell over yesterday and grazed her knee on the stone road and it bled a beauty. When she sees blood, it's so much worse in her mind. So she says she can't walk and just sits on the couch all day. I moved her from her bed to the couch this morning and thats where she has stayed. Too scared to move. LOL Such a little princess!!
The kids have been out on the boat a few times and Lachie got up on the knee board from a wet start, so he is so proud of himself. We had 4 days in a row of around 40 degrees, so we are thankful for the 25 days we are having now!
