Boy this year seems to be flying past.
Got some washing to sort out and then some housework before heading of to see Dad this afternoon. I was going to do some more gardening but it looks as if it is going to rain.

I'm on the other side of this cold now... so today is better... got so much housework to do and horrid paperwork... luckily I have Paige doing work experience with me this week.... she's going to get a taste of the paperwork side of running a business

Glad that you are feeling better Missy Mandy.
Well I have given the housework the flick at the moment and am playing with some of my yummy new prima stuff. Lets hope that I manage to get something to work with it.
Beautiful day here. We've brunched and DH is playing with gifts. I'm creating playlists using random words - father, son , Sunday! Makes for some interesting musical contrasts. I'll upload a photo of the father's day card I made.

Forgot to ring my dad today with the time difference
Took my older DD and God-daughter to see Annie the Musical and it was so fantastic (my GD had never seen Annie or knew the storyline and she adored it). Though I dropped her back at her mothers with a belly full of junk food she ate so much.

Well I am home after an exciting afternoon not. I had to pop out to the shops before going to see Dad and got a message from Craig 'Get here now'. Panic stations for me. Thankfully I was not far away. Asher had come of her scooter and split her chin. We had to take her up to get it looked at. Waited about an hour before we got seen to and Asher got the news that she was probably going to need stitches. That went down like a led balloon and thankfully we managed to avoid the screaming match with some new special closures and glue.
She's a bit sore and we now will have matching chin scars.

We had an awful afternoon yesterday starting with a man jumping out of a vehicle drunk and vomiting everywhere right next to us... ugh...we just wanted the lights to turn green so we could get around the corner... poor paige was retching next to me... I could barely keep it together! ugh... we even drove past where the studio for a couple of kms before we both work up! - then got back to the school where the studio is only to see a young family on the oval and a boxer dog killing/maiming plover chicks (protected tassie birds) and he did nothing about it... so we jumped out of the car screaming and yelling at the dog and man.... arrogant!!! boy - he did nothing - he let the dog continue.. I ran after the dog myself (getting bitten was not in my mind - only the little chicks in its mouth) The plovers were swooping (can be dangerous) and still the man did nothing. I managed to yell at the dog and he dropped the chicks... and his little daughter was distraught - yet he was more concerned I was yelling at his dog! A big confrontation ensued and another ballet parent jumped in, ballet students were upset watching what the dog did...and do you know HE STILL didnt stop the dog - it ran off and got more chicks.. it was in a frenzy! One of the cleaners rang the assistant principal and he came and moved him on. What a horrible person! We started class late, Paige and I both struggled to teach and I still have horrible images in my mind and you know how much I love my birds. I'm yet to speak to the principal to see what was said.. looking forward to that!
Oh no, Mandy. That is unbelieveable. How could he just stand by and watch the dog do that. I was getting tearful just reading your story so I can only imagine how horrible it was for you and all the others there with you. AND YUK to the vomiting person too.
