Happy Friday Everyone - Hope you have all had a great week... I can't believe it's October already, though I am happy, it's one of my favourite months - I love Halloween.
I thought i'd share with you a quick little project that i'm doing up for later in the month, though you could use this for any occasion, or birthday - Little Matchbooks.
These are so easy and fun to make using a few dies, some cardstock and some thickers.
The first step is to die cut and fold your matchbook, the die actually scores where you have to fold to make it nice and easy. I then gave the edges a quick swipe with some black paint.
The next thing i did was to cut the smallest and next smallest label dies from my label dies, the smallest one the same colour as my matchbook, and the other in black. I gave the small one a quick swipe of black paint around the edges as well, and mounted these with mounting top to the middle of the front of my match book. At this stage I also put a small dot of liquid pearls one each side of the black label.
For the"boo" i used some natural coloured thickers, painted them with white paint
and when they were dry stamped them with an alpha stamp.
The stuck them onto my labels on the front of my matchbook.
the next thing i did was put my lollies in, fold over the small bottom tab, and gave it a staple to hold it in place.
Attach a die cut bat, and it's done.. a spooky little treat
If you make any of these we'd love to see!!Hope you all enjoy your weekend..
