minnieshouse2.jpgColour Challenge Aug09200 viewsThis is my take on this months colour challenge. I decided to make my niece a Minnie Mouse money box for her birthday. She is crazy about Minnie!!

I got the MDF money box from a cheap shop, and painted and covered it. I even used the rolled paper technique to outline the doors and windows.

Paint -KC, PP -Stampin Up, Flowers - Prima & ?, Felt -KC, bling -KC, Ribbon - ?, kindy glitz, scallop punch, Carolee Creations stickers, Minnie is a Jolee Sticker. The aqua bit around the bottom is Prima packaging!5 comments

The photo collage was made in photoshop with a digiframe which had shadows included but I also scored it and stuck on the page dimensionally. The simple pleasures graphic was also a digi element but I printed it and made the embellishment. Lettering stickers are Bo Bunny and the PP scraps are a mixture of manufacturers. Thanks for an awesome colour scheme to play with and the chance to use up bits and pieces. 5 comments

I've used Bella allegory pp for the base and then chopped up prima's flirty little secret d/s c/stock - coy to use the frame and run the vine up the page and across the bottom. Also used a prima flower and AC glitter jewellery box thickers and other bits and pieces.12 comments
