May_12_Card_Resized.jpg
May_12_Card_Resized.jpgMay 2012 Card SetI stamped the butterflies with stazon and coloured with distress inks, then covered the wings only with Dimensional Magic (I LOVE this stuff and I'm still only on my first bottle!). The images are framed inside the card and out (the outside ones are popped up with foam squares), and the sentiments are rub ons.

Thanks for a great challenge Julie - it was good to get my fingers inky again :-)

LO_028_A_Place_in_Time.jpg
LO_028_A_Place_in_Time.jpgA place in history. Many years ago, these cemeteries scared me. I always imagined the big headstones to be spooky and I hated going to the cemeteries with headstones but now that I am older, they don’t scare me anymore.

I now see the beauty in these headstones. Whilst death is not beautiful, the work of art on these headstones are amazing. It is very interesting seeing all the different shaped headstones and plots. They truly are a labour of love.

It’s probably morbid to take photos of these headstones and a little disrespectful.
But I fear that in years to come, these will be gone. Where would history be???

Just one photo is a memory to remember… to remember this piece of history in time.

Freezing_cold_in_Paris_-_Therapy_Monthly_Theme_Challenge_-_May_2010_(Medium).JPGFreezing cold in ParisI think everyone knows that what I love to do to "retreat" is go on holidays with DH, friends & family!!!

This is a photo of my besty and I in Paris. I used Kaiser Peachy Keen papers and hand cut and layered some of the flowers from the PP. Love the result!
