Oh I love those pics Helen! I agree with the girls ... that last one is just too precious :D .

We just got home from the Anzac march where Rach marched with her school for the first time.

Just been to ANZAC parade. Paige(wearing my great grandfathers medals) marched with my Dad(wearing his own) My Dad is quite elderly and despite his bad foot with his limp, he insists on marching, but he did and quite well!

So once at the cenataph, my Mum, Hannah and I were over to the side of where they were, but we could just see the tops of their heads...

ANd in the middle of the service, suddenly I panicked, couldnt see their heads, and people around them were looking down...
Oh my lord - it was Dad, Mum looked at me panicked too - so I told her to sit tight..... so I rushed under the tape holding the public back - and got through the crowd and it was PAIGE! She overheated in her jacket and fainted! She told me she didnt want take it off cos of the medals!
The St Johns Ambulance looked after her, she bounced back and insisted on back to the parade!

I held onto her jacket and pinned the medals to her top!

Just as well, cos just as the service finished and elderly man went down next to me - out cold..... so I placed the jacket under his head... and the ambulance men attended him!

We are not used to having such a HOT day!!!!! Its glorious today!

There were a lot of swapping over of the young cadets etc!

Here's Paige... with my Dad next to her.

have had the most wonderful weekend - had my 50th birthday party on Saturday night, hooked it up with our sister's and BIL's 45th wedding anniversary. Family all weekend, and much, much fun on Saturday night. We had a 60s theme and everyone got into it.

She was one of the littlest & it was a big walk ... I'm so proud of her! She's the one in the middle of the photo. She was so excited because they drop poppies from a plane & she was given one.

There'll be lots of colour and a bit of a wild hair theme I think!
