Hi girls, I have some echo park paper - Danielle Doily that I want to use but I can't decide if its pink or red. When you put pink next to it looks red and vice versa.

Does anyone have it so they can help me decide?

The sketch challenge I think. Its too hard to use for the colour challanges. I wouldn't know what to put with it.

You would think it would be more of a pink rather than red cosidering the other papers in that line.

Looks more pink to me. If you add in some green you could use it in the pink/green room challenge.

A facebook friend saw my photos of embellished easels I had done a few weeks ago and would love for me to do one for her daughter. The daughter is about 5, fave colour is purple and is a tomboy, for example she will play baseball in her prettiest dress. Does that give anyone any indication of how I should embellish an easel?

I'm pretty stumped. Thought I could do it grunge style but I'm not very good with grunge. I also have a wooden letter "L" to put on it as well. The easels aren't very big either. The pics of the easels are also in the gallery. I asked the mum about using kaisercraft Skull girl and some crowns but that's not the go either.

I'd love lots of help PLEASE!!!!!!!

I considered googling like "cartoon girl playing baseball" and if I can do the image big enough, get a pretty dress sticker and put it on the image. Thought maybe some purple cardstock crumpled and rub some silver ink over it, clear kindy glitz the letter, use some chipboard arrows, stars. Maybe incorporate some greeny yellow flowers somewhere......I dunno. She still likes her girly stuff but is more tomby. I'm somewhat wishing I didn't agree to doing it because once it's done and she doesn't like it.....what then?

Then she learns to accept a gift gracefully and thinks the world of you for putting in all the thought, love and work

(your plan of what to do sounds fabulous)

How about trying to do a double sided canvas. One side girly and the other tomboyish and grungy that way if she is feeling girly she can have it up one way or if she is feeling like a tom boy she can flip it over.
