can I just clarify the question

Are you asking if you can do more than one layout per challenge

or ... use just one layout for more than one challenge

there is a big difference

my answer would be

if you want to do ten different layouts for Mandys room challenge go for it the more the merrier, however only one would count towards the tally

if you want to use one layout to enter two different challenges - the answer is definately no - you need to choose which layout your challenge is for and only enter it in that one

make sense?

I can't see myself getting all the challenges done, especially since I still haven't ever made a layout before! But I'm going to start with White with 1 and Julie's card challenge, and see how I go :-)

Ah Christine...

You just never know. I remember when Julie started off for the longest time as a cardie... :P

Just have a go Christine and use the DTs ideas as inspiration. If you are able to come to Sami's class in Babinda next week, she's a great teacher and if you do your own thing it won't bother her at all, so lots of room for creativity.

I did just that. I was often heard to say that scrapping would never get to me and it has got me and got me good. My friend just laughs now.

Its okay Julie, I swore black and blue I'd never do any of this stuff, too time consuming, expensive and needed more room than I have. Then I started scrapping. Then it was I wouldn't stamp or make cards, way to fiddly, I've just joined a stamp club to learn some new techniques  Also wouldn't learn to crochet cause its too hard and I'm now halfway through a blanket (stuck at the moment though cause too hard in a splint) Best of all was I wouldn't sew! I have now made majority of James nappies, some clothes and started up the little facebook business.

Morale of the story is Never say Never!!!!!

Thanks Trisha - unfortunately I won't be able to join in next weekend, but will certainly have a go at home! I have a couple of (hundred!) photos from our holiday to Europe 2 years ago that are still sitting in the packets I picked them up in! Not to mention a couple of totally gorgeous god children (not that I'm biased!) that I have happy snaps of.

I'll definitely hang around the forum and gallery and enter challenges wherever I can!

of course you can but the tally only counts for one per challenge if that makes sense. In theory to win the $10 voucher you need to do all the monthly challenges and just for fun challenges, or be the one who does the most

So just clarifying....if the 'tally only counts for one per challenge', then that means we only need one 'room' done, and someone who does all 3 rooms does not qualify as having done more challenges then. :?:

There's one point each for the rooms - what's listed on the tally is what you get a point for.

Just cant enter say 'two sketches' and expect two points...or do one LO which is for example: the sketch and a room combined and expect two points.. or do two LO's for room 1 etc...

does that make sense??

Just go by what is listed on the tally.
