I took a few sunflare shots with the kids in the canola crop last night with this tute in mind. As soon as I've finished my holiday images I'll be uploading the sunflare one to get you motivated. We're half way thru the month, and you'll need to capture the sunflare this month to use in next months 'shoot it, scrap it' challenge.

Load up your 1 best sunflare shot in this gallery to qualify for this month's winning voucher.

Gyps.

I'm very lucky enough to have PRO level gear, and I shoot in RAW not JPG and that certainly helps. Because of RAW I have to use Photoshop to tweak and then convert each shot into JPG. It's worth the effort as the shots come up so well.

You can tweak JPG's as well in PS.

I've added a texture to give it more 'oomphhh' in this shot. Did you notice it??

keep trying Gyspy. It wintertime down here so the sun can be elusive as well. :?

Even if it pops out in the middle of the day, have a go. You'll need to position yourself lower down and shoot higher up as the sun is higher up.
Or find something that's above your head height to you so you can stand and shoot up. (it could be a bird nest, or an apple in the tree) Don't forget to 'fill flash'

You just need to 'see' anything that could be a possibility as a subject.

go girl.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. How is everyone?

Hey Tiff, may I ask what focal length did you use to shoot "Dingy Delight"?
It really is a beautiful photograph, I love it.

Hi Vitali87 - welcome to the madehouse

You obviously know something about photography to be asking for things like focal length - it is lovely to have another keen photographer join us - we look forward to seeing what you have to offer - good luck in the photo comps
