For this month's scrap ahead I have used a background of Basic Grey (urban prairie)straw and cut circles from various scraps of BG plains.
The different sized circles are - 2 x 3 1/2" - 4 x 2 1/2" - 6 x 1 1/2" (just drawn around different sized cups etc ) and lots (I've cut 11) of 3/4" ones I've cut using a circle punch. I've inked the edges with Tim Holtz Tea dye.
Place your 6" x 4" blank piece of paper if you are scrapping ahead or your 6x4 photo in the middle of the page but when you attach it, leave the edges very free to pop the circles under it. Arrange the circles out from the photo starting with the larger ones and working out to the opposite corners. I've then splashed some paint in the "vacant" corners.
Out of a contrasting paper, I've cut 2 corners for the opposite corners of your photo. Decorate these corners with the punch outs from a hole punch using the colours of your circles.
Now add the corners to the opposite corners (the painted corners) as close or as far away from the corners of your photo as you would like. Add a title to the top spare painted corner and add journalling lines to the opposite bottom painted corner. Add some lace to the bottom of your photo. You can add more embellies around your photo if you like. I've also added some BG rubons to the circles, distressed and inked the edges of my LO and added a doodled border and some little punched butterflies from the same pp as the corners.
Have fun ................. I'll draw a name from the entries in the gallery folder at month's end and pop a little RAK in the mail to the winner.
havent had a play with the scrap ahead yet Deb, what exactly do we do, do we "scraplift" your design or just do our own with all our scraps??? though I am loving this design with the circles!!!

Hey, Belinda......you can follow my steps to create a LO the same or maybe you might like to do your own thing with the circles, maybe not have so many perhaps or different placement of them.....all up to you and all a bit of fun. A good way to use up some of those scraps we all have. Looking forward to seeing what you create.
