We have had a nice day today. Went out to Kings park and visited a new playground and I experimented with my camera on manual. Have yet to check out the pics properly but I will probably have some of Missy splashing around in the water.
I found the "shoot a subject with a soft background" function on my point and shoot the other day - I know I probably should have been taking pics of the crocodiles but I found some green ants that I thought I'd stalk with my camera LOL!
Haven't loaded any of them onto the computer yet - will hopefully find some time tomorrow!

You girls are good with your cameras!! Mine is just point and shoot but I do change the lightness and darkness ... whatever that is called!!
A busy week over and a busy one ahead here. Our week seems to be crammed with kids activities and they aren't even doing that much stuff - I play netball on Monday's, swimming lessons for kids on Tuesday's, friend for a play for DD on Wednesday's, gymnastics on Thursday's and play date for DS and swimming club on Friday! That sounds like a lot but I do think swimming is essential rather than extra-curricular .
My friend is doing the biggest loser club for the next 8 weeks. I haven't signed up but she has motivated me to do something about my unhealthy lifestyle. I'm not overweight but would be happy to lose a few kgs, it's more about the total lack of exercise, feeling tired and disinterested, and eating the wrong stuff for me. So I started walking on the weekend, stocked up the fridge with better food and filled a jug with my water for the day. My body is buzzing now - with shock perhaps! But I feel better already ...... now if I could just get back to sleep ....

Julie, I bet King's Park was beautiful. We were there a month or so ago and it was just starting to bloom. Would love to see it now. Christine, hope to see some snazzy shots of green ants. I sure don't miss them! Sandra - WTG with shaking up your lifestyle. I am sure you will feel so much better. I have just lost 10kgs doing Weight Watchers and feel heaps better. Still have a few more to go, but I will keep on keeping on. If only I could get motivated to get walking............. Same ole, same ole here. Work, and then more work. BUT, my mojo is flowing and I have another project on the go and it might only get done in dribs and drabs, but get done it will. Have a good week everyone, whatever you are getting up to.

I am glad this week has finished. Crazy week at work. Have a nice relaxing weekend planned. Off to Burnie Farmer's Markets this morning for some nice fresh veg and flowers, and then some scrapping. Sometime this weekend I have some vege seedlings to plant out, weather permitting, of course.
farmers market and gardening - sounds like my sort of day - I think I will need to do some of this when we go on holiday - have to get there first - busy crazy 6 weeks ahead of us here
I've spent the day in the Barossa valley. WAY wok much to eat and drink! Just enjoying a coffee before heading out to dinner. Friend'd wedding is at another winery tomorrow! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
