Aaaw thanks

Its done in pages by week... so on one page it kinda looks like this with spaces but lines inbetween

monday

tues

wed

thurs

frid

sat

sun

And when I had a 'day of LOTS on' then I would just cut out another 4x6 page and add it and write 'Monday 4th' at the top... and list what I want.
THats where the rings are great, and you dont have to bog down a planner with heaps of full days when you may not have anything else on but work.

What you are saying is so me... somedays its just 'work' and other days can be a list of things to do.

Best of all - you can get rid of a heap of old paper, I just about emptied my scrap box doing a couple for gifts! :P

ok, so the next question is... what am I doing wrong with the rings?? Every time I use them to bind something, at least one stops working. Did yours really make it through a whole year?? what am I doing? For example, one seems to have broken (as in won't clip together firmly) in my December Daily and we're only one and a half weeks in! Any hints - brand to buy, things to not do with them etc???

Mine are quite thick, more than the norm...and I've got to say they are really difficult to open (clasp tightly)
I'd say its brand buy.
I dont know what mine are because I didnt think about it at the time only that they'd be great, and they certainly lasted.

It would, but she's selling 2012 planner templates, instructions and a video to help her customers create it - so cant really.
But for $12US its not that much and you get all you need as soon as you pay - and it could look good in either paper you want to use up - or any brand here in the shop - that is light enough to see print.
I got an email from Avital this morning and she's always happy to help.

I've almost got it together, and my relationship with my printer IS intact! the kit is easy to use AND I've used scrap paper to print on. I think the greatest expense has been the ink, but less cost than buying a planner. I still prefer the non-electronic variety at home. :)

Just have to punch the holes now and decorate the covers. Thanks for the link Mandy.

Thats cool Helen!

When you say you prefer the non-electronic kind...
do you mean a planner in your hand rather than a planner on the computer?

Cos if its one in the hand where you flip pages yourself...most definitely! I dont tend to remember anything on a calendar online - I forget to look.

I need to physically write something down! :P

Yes, a planner in the hand. I live off the computer at work- the whole bit: calendar, task lists, contacts etc; but I don't centre myself on the computer at home (it feels a bit like work!) so find the paper variety best. I'm avoiding blackberry etc because that will mean work comes with me 24/7, and as much as I enjoy my job, i'd never de-stress.

And besides, a paper planner is tactile and will this one will soon have a cover of beautiful Japanese paper :)

I've just finally done my planner! Just put it together and I've cheated!

I've taken my tags and any pages I didnt use last year and popped them in this years...saved printing out more...

and reworked my covers too...

so it was even easier cos I've had less time this year.

What I DID like when I got my templates was the option to do it in 11 1/2 x 8 too! (mines 6x4) So printed mine off like photos. Just cut my papers to 6x4 and put them in my photo tray. easy peasy!

I do like the option too to do back and front of pages, I guess it makes it more compact if you are a paper/size saver... but I do like being able to scribble notes on the back of each page

I will do this planner each year

I did it 6x4 as well, and printed double sided, then printed out enough for next year as well (that was not meant to happen!) I've already started ad libbing - adding in a fold out page for this week, as it's a busy one, and I want to get a lot of things done, and lists are needed if this is ever to happen
