Onto our second letter for March.......the letter "U". Ummmmmmmmmmmm.....might be a bit tricky-er than H but not too hard.
The challenge is for you to be inspired by a word starting with the given letter and create a LO showing somewhere on your layout the word that your LO was inspired by. This can be in the title or in your journalling (we need to be able to see it).
The extra criteria for this letter is to include a banner/s (bunting/s) to your page.
On this page I've done some basic watercolouring with pencils on the Teresa Collins Notations paper used for the banner/s and other embellies. Apart from the main photo, I printed the photo three times in different sizes just on plain paper and cut out the butterflies for embellies. I've given them a coat of dimensional magic as well.
Pages must be newly created and non digital solely for the use of this challenge and may not be used in any other challenge until winners are announced. All entries must be in the correct folder in the gallery corresponding to challenge undertaken and are due by midnight of the last day of the month. The winner will receive a $25 Scraptherapy Voucher, which will be valid for one month from the date of issue. If vouchers are not able to be used within that time for some reason the voucher can be RAK'd to a friend for their use.
ok - let's get some U words happening for inspiration, girls. umbrella, umpire, uncle, uncommon, unconditional, under, underground, undergrowth, understand, underneath, understudy, unicorn, uniform, university, unnatural, unnecessary, unpleasant, upbringing, upright, uppity, uproar, upstage, urban, use, usual, utensil............heaps to choose from there. Looking forward to seeing lots of creations in the gallery before month's end. Happy scrapping.
that is a stunning photo Deb and a great page - Butterflies - especially Ulysses are almost impossible to catch with their wings down when taking photos - I love the way you have incorporated extra butterflies onto the page
Thanks, girls. I lost count of the number of photos I took - had the camera set for repeated shots and there were only about 3 where the wings were reasonably down......this one being the best of them. My grand daughter wanted to take a butterfly photo for her show and tell so she proudly went off with this one in hand as well.

Hi Sarah, I'm not sure 100% what you mean, but if its a set class, using the teachers ideas and her work, then if it were me, I'd probably wouldnt enter it in any challenge situations Best to enter your orginal work for your best chance
