Happy Friday....

This week i have some Christmas cards to share with you, I'm not normally a card maker, and i tend to struggle wiht cards, but here they are, I actually really like how they turned out

Image

Here is a quick little tutorial on how i made my flowers..

I cut two of each of three sizes of flower from my Tim Holtz Tattered Garland die. I have used some older Prima papers-from the North Country Range

Using a piece of foam or something soft and the round tip of a sharpie pen ( or something small and rounded on the end), work each petal in a circular motion until it curls up.. medium pressure is good. It does take a little while to do all your flowers.

I put each flower into the palm of my hand and manipulate it a little more until it's just right. I started with my bigger petals, and put a small drop of glue in each one as i layered them all in on top of each other, from largest to smallest. Also make sure you offset the petals when assembling them so they dont all line up.

Products Used:

Nrth Country - Wonderland- I cut the reindeer out
North Country - Snow Fall - I used this for the card base
North Country 8x8 paper Pad
Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Garland Die - Currently out of stock
