Who's getting a breakfast table ready....
Do you remember the chats we had last year ..... HERE
Every year I love to stay up later than everyone else and decorate the table and on it a wonderful centrepiece, place cards... hmmm, maybe some cut flowers?? and where the main easter egg presents are found near their place setting. It never changes... always joy and chatter! This all happens AFTER the egg hunt! So I close the dining room off - no peeking until then. Yes, no matter how OLD my girls are - they still love to set out on a hunt - probably more because they see the joy I get! LOL - WITH my camera
Its a tradition that has a wonderful memory in our family of the happiness of every Easter morning.
I'm not sure on what colour table I'll have but I bought these - aren't they CUTE!
They are approx. 5-6inches high and made of fake fur. Not sure either about what else I'll put with them... I do like cut flowers though!
I've got a list of my Breakfast Tables on the side of my blog, if you want some ideas. It goes back to 2009. I giggle at how my girls have changed - but their faces still remain the same!
Add your plans here in posts as well.... We want to see what you might be doing? Put up some inspiration pics you might like or might be doing... its always great to share!!
What colours - are you making anything to go on your table?? Have you created a table before?? if so, PLEASe share your link or photos here!!
Its eggciting!
****** EDITED****** to add in Easter Morning Photos!!!
Weeeeeeeeeell, here's how it turned out!! SO pleased!
I've used a white table cloth and bought some bright yellow felt - easy peasy to cut into place mats -NO sewing!!!

Oh gorgeous Missy. I'm not too sure just what I will do as yet but it will be a yellow colour theme to tie in with my chair ties I made up. Those chicks would suit perfectly. I wonder how long it would take for one or two to fly my way.

Yeah, I painted up my old little table for the kid's Easter table. They use it now to play tea parties. Not sure how many of us will be able to get together on the one day this year, so still not sure if it will be a Sunday thing.

I'm already thinking about my "Easter Afternoon Tea Table" to surprise the extended family with at mum's place. Won't be making anything crafty this year (apart from baked goods) but have a stash of cute wooden bunnies, etc from BB&T's post-easter sale last year. I got a bit lost in there the other day but had to tell myself no. Their new stuff for Easter this year is sooo nice

I was very slack on the photo taking this year. Shame on me. We didn't do brekky this year. Had lunch at DD's. She had a nice little table centre set but I didn't get a pic.....hopefully she did.
