fun-time-with-auntie.jpgfun times with auntiesaved the instructions for the august blind scrap for later - did not even peek until I finished this a few days ago. How was that for self-control? LOL!
chose papers and colours from the tops worn by my sister and my daughter in the picture, had some trouble with the flowers, ended up removing the brads and adding rub ons to the centres. 2 commentsSep 19, 2010

09_wattlebird.jpgWattle BirdI had fun with this one, but not sure about the 'frame'. Thanks Deb, great ideas and certainly pushed me outside the comfort zone. Have used:
PP - KaiserCraft (is there anything else at the mo)
Letters: thickers (is there anything else)
not much else (some rubons from MM)4 comments

Blind_chall_14March09.jpgPirateMy take on Julie's blind challenge. Decided to do it 8.5x11 and it all went a bit "wrong" after I put the small scallop strip 1/3 way up the page. It was just a matter of fitting things where they would fit then but I'm really happy with it. I didn't really have any suitable pp to cut out my large embellie from so I just drew some crossbones and put them where they would fit. 7 comments
smiling_eyes.JPGsmiling EYESBella grace - bloom & dandy pp
bella rik rak ribbon & black flowers
buttons
didn't have any material (couldn't find it actually - it's in that safe place) so just used pp instead and distressed it to make it look frayed. Decided to put ribbon on top of pp instead of just under it. also cut base pp down to 8.5 x 11.
thanks for such a great blind scrap mandy - love my LO5 comments
