Xmas-in-Vienna.jpg
Xmas-in-Vienna.jpgXmas in ViennaI was inspired by by the warm reds, greens and creams and also the feel of family and togetherness. The picture is of my grandmother and aunty admiring the christmas tree on christmas eve 1972 in Vienna. Traditionally Austrians put up their xmas tree on xmas eve and ususally the whole family gets involved.2 commentsNov 28, 2010

This is my take on Lisa's theme challenge.
I loved the picture and i just adored the colours and knew exactly what p/p's to use. MMe 'Holly Jolly'.....I know they were chrissy papers BUT I loved that I could use them for just an everday layout as well.....

vintage_sewing_boxes.JPGVintage Sewing BoxesI used the picture of piled up cases for the inspiration for my LO. I have little piles of vintage boxes around my place, this one being my sewing boxes. I love collecting them wondering who used to own them and what journey brought them to me. Thanks for the challenge Lisa :)10 comments

card.jpgOct CC - card challengeLoved the sketch Helen. I used a Hero Arts flower stamp for the background, Crate Paper and some rubons. For the 'arty' bit I painted some white paint on pink PP and then added some crackle effect medium. I used this as a base for the rubons. Don't think the crackle effect will show up on the photo though! I also used DM on the seed beads to keep them in place.6 comments
