Xmas-in-Vienna.jpgXmas in ViennaI was inspired by by the warm reds, greens and creams and also the feel of family and togetherness. The picture is of my grandmother and aunty admiring the christmas tree on christmas eve 1972 in Vienna. I loved the picture and i just adored the colours and knew exactly what p/p's to use. I took my inspiration from the flowers so decided to free-hand draw my own then I coloured them in with coloured signo pens. I then outlined them in black and did some more doodling with the flourishes and around the photo.. I have also used some spotty p/p under the photo... Thanks for a great challenge Allie... I made the papers myself using a variety of art techniques such as marbling, shaving foam printing, water colour pencils, salt resist and crayon resist. I also used ink and paint. Bazzill card. The owl is from 'what a hoot' pp by Kaiser and the leaves are from We R memory keepers, fiddle faddle. Please excuse wonky photo - I'm still learning how to do all these technological things!
