Plus I also remember the "stampede" when the movie came out.. I was already a reader of the novel before the hype etc .. so wasn't expecting as many ppl as there were lol..quote is one of my faves.. Muriel_031.JPGStitches of LoveI took my inspiration from the colours of the flags [teal & red] and the buildings [sandstone and brown]. I used CS which I sanded, distressed, inked and stamped. I tea dyed the lace stitched the title and handmade the journaling card. The photo is of my friend Gloria and her little brother taken in 1950 when Gloria was 3 yo. The children's clothes [parachute silk] were sewn and hand embroidered by their Mother, Dorothy Rowena Woods. I have BG Nook and Pantry red paper as the base and the pitcures like the buildings.
