Muriel_022.JPGMy Friend GloriaThis is a photo of my friend Gloria at age 17. I didn't meet her until we were both past 50 but we have become firm friends. I used CS and distressed & stamped & inked it. The embellishments are buttons, a ribbon rose and a chipboard heart which I inked and decorated. Kaiser Craft stamp. Lace and tag are from Gloria's stash. Fibres are BG.8 comments11/08/09 at 21:25happyscrappy: this looks great Mum - Beautiful old photo

kids_at_heart.jpgKids at HeartThis Sketch challenge really pushed me. BG paper
stamping techniques 1. painted the pink leaf emb and then picked parsley from the garden and used it to stamp a pattern on the emb - It really worked well. I then used papertowl and inked it onto the cream CS for backing and used 3 cut ribbon flowers to create the pattern on the bottom of the blue CS mount.
I also tried Alli's paper curling tech for one of the emb.
