In_Their_Footsteps.JPGIn Their FootstepsMy great-great grandparents arrived in Aust in 1844 & were one of the original pioneers in the Crookwell area. My journalling is about how it felt to finally see their church & graves & the area where they lived. It brought them to life rather than just a name on the family tree. TFL!7 commentsMar 31, 2010

The_Guys_-_Therapy_Journalling_-_March_2010_(Medium).jpgMarch Journalling - "The Guys"I switched up my interpretation of "journalling around the page" + journalled around the PP and photo as it seemed to suit better. I started this page to be for the sketch challenge for the CC last weekend, but didnt see the bit about it being green and by then even though I hadnt stuck it down I loved it so thought i'd make it work for something else!!!

DSC09048_-_Copy.JPGmarch Journalling C# 'view life in 3D colour'feeling a bit funky with this layout! used lettering around picture and rub-ons around edge of page for journalling...my green recycle aspect is the 3d glasses my daughter and her friends all wear (because they think they are cool) from the avatar movie (with the 3d lense removed)4 commentsMar 28, 2010
IMG_3679.JPGThis is my take on Lisa's journalling challenge....I have used word stickers and own handwriting to journal around the page.....I have also heat embossed the little bird then added glitter to the wings...(and no burnt hole in the carpet !!!!!!!)
Thanks for a great challenge Lisa....

ST_monthly_journalling_chall__Mar10.JPGSweet....My take on the journalling challenge this month. Basically just used a white cardstock base, added some gingham and turquoise paint around the edge and brushed over the fabric. Used up one of the many paper doilies I have and some flower stickers that have been sitting in my stash for awhile. tfl. 6 commentsMar 16, 2010
auntsanduncles.jpgAunts and UnclesI can't photograph straight for the life of me today so excuse the carpet in the background! The journalling around the edges is a lot more visible in reality but again it's not coming up too well in the photo, it's basically just saying that I love my aunts and uncles and am lucky to have them all in my life! Finally used up some of the brown and blue bits and pieces I've had lying around for a while!5 commentsMar 14, 2010
DSC_0005_edited-1.jpgLoved by 1 and allThese are some of the funnier photos from the wedding. I used DCWV paper and c/s which I had for a class I ran at school, ribbon left over fron some cushions I bought and thickers.3 commentsMar 13, 2010
tøyse.jpg"Matheus ta brille meg!" ("Matheus, take my picture!")My eight year old son has taken the photos in this layout. And the journaling is telling the story about our "everyday photo session". The paper from "Cherry Arte" has been laying around here for many months, with too much color to fit anything. Today i found the perfect photos, not in my own camera, but in my sons. ;)4 commentsMar 13, 2010

4413697102_0143cf49f3.jpgJournalling challengeThis is one of my favourite photos of my best friend and I.
I experimented with some more embossing. Embossed the thickers with Black powder, came out ok, kind of spotty...
Thanks for looking :)5 comments
